| The marketing of historic, custom-made, hand-crafted furniture and works of art is another of our passions ...
Yes, at DCI Texas, we are passionate about helping in the marketing efforts of rare, one-of-a-kind, uniquely distinctive pieces from right here in Texas and from all over the world. Reclamation of architectural materials that are artfully and skillfully used in the hand-crafting of magnificent custom-made ranch relics is, to say the least, a delight and near obsession. We travel Texas and literally the globe to find custom unique items, like hand-made timeless furniture, relics re-crafted from historic, salvaged elements. Identifying authentic, historically rich reclaimed woods can be vastly gratifying. These reclaimed and carefully salvaged architectural elements are often rare, beautiful, time-honored timbers, pieces of history. Most of what we do at DCI Texas is digital new media and a direct dichotomy to these relics, but in the same way, these salvaged timbers, re-claimed from historic structures that are otherwise destroyed, is another form of being 'green'. As we say at DCI, it's being "green in a digital climate".
One such category is that of hand-crafted Texas furniture, ranch classics inspired by the past. These simple yet strikingly beautiful, durable and ultra-sturdy ranch relics are designed and re-crafted for durability. Heavy, turned timber legs and rough-hewn, saw-marked beams join to form a rare combination of graceful, rugged practicality. Designed from 100-year-old Texas ranch originals, these time-honored relics are at ease as timeless décor for any home. Made from historic Texas ranch timbers, these Texas-style classic ranch designs are skillfully hand-constructed in a century-old workshop and re-crafted from historic ranch timbers. Salvaged from brace posts, hayloft flooring, intensely distinctive barn wood, and windmill platforms from across the Lone Star State, these rugged timbers have been given new life, new beauty and new, practical utility. The relic artisans take great pride in the responsible use of these ranch resources and in hand crafting these timelessly beautiful, weathered relics.
